Color for BeeSPutty :-)

We are working on a colorbatch. It was hard to find some colorful pigments that dose ont tint your hands to much during working/kneading our putty. I feel like I have tested tons of pigments, liquids :-(. Once I have found one that looks good - it has another color after baking it. Now I have found a good working source of coloring BeeSPutty. Its NonToxic, colorful and dose not tint your hands like other puttys do. So we have to do more tests on this. If you work with colorful putty you never need only one color. So we would like to do some colorsets that makes sense. Maybe there will be some kind of flyer with some cool suggestions of how and what you can do with colorful BeeSPutty...

Skulltime

Skulltime. We have two new kits in stock. A grey and a white resinskull for artists reference. To sculpt a human head you need fundamental knowledge about the anatomie of the human skull. The skull is the basic armature for sculpting a head.

Character faces... (1/12)

I have so much ideas that should be realized. But most of them sadly only ends as ideas. Today after a weekend with some free and familytime i decided to give one idea a go. The reference skull is nearly ready for production. Only some suggestions by my sculpting buddy Gregor has to be changed. The new idea (it is not a new idea but i have not done it so far...) is to sculpt a characterful head with showing its planes as sculpting referene markers. I will do this on a epoxy armature with chavant NSP hard to get it moulded and after that i will try to modify the original sculp into different emotions. So hopefully there will be some useful minibusts for drawing and sculpting reference...

A little skull for reference...

as a sculptor you need to know the boneal structure of a skull. its really helpful to get a head/face sculpted right. So here is such a skull not anatomicly perfect in all details, but good enough to show the fundamental shape...

German Boxer Step II.

I have not have much time at the weekend. I am still blocking in the proportions. The ears are still to big . Maybe the cervical is still to long. Sometimes it is better to take a break from sculpting to look on it the other day with fresh eyes...

Weiter gehts... der deutsche Boxer I.
